What does POH-GGZ do at Kruispost?
The POH-GGZ works closely with the doctors at Kruispost to map out the psycho-social problems of the clients. The lines are short and can therefore act quickly, consult and refer to the right specialists.
Through support conversations, clients are guided, stimulated and motivated to bring structure into their lives by, for example, activating for daytime activities. We mediate, provide advice and support on a psychosocial, personal and business level.
Who is our target group?
Kruispost actually has several target groups. The largest target group are the undocumented ((asylum seekers) who have exhausted all legal remedies). This is followed by people from EU countries and the uninsured. Most are homeless and cannot find help in regular care.
The facilities for these target groups may be limited, but offering a listening ear is always possible and just as important!
